The song refers to locations in Athens and Attica: Kaisariani, Penteli, and Dafni (where the three well-known monasteries are found), as well as Alikokou and Rodakio, small neighbourhoods of Athens. The neighbourhood of Alikokou was located in the area where today stands the Church of Agia Sotira on Kydathineon Street, while the neighbourhood of Rodakio was in the area of today’s Archdiocese, on Agia Filothei Street.
