Πέθα- μάνα μ’, πέθα- πέθαν’ ο Κρέας, πέθανε,
πέθαν’ ο Κρέας, πέθανε, ψυχομαχάει κι ο Τύρος.
Σηκώνει ο Πράσος την ουρά κι ο Κρέμμυδας τα γένια,
κι η Βρούβα, η παλιόβρουβα, στέκεται στην καβάλα
να πέσει στην τσουκάλα.
