Traditional songs and tunes of the Greeks from Cappadocia and Konya (Iconium) in Asia Minor. Greek communities lived in these areas until the Asia Minor Catastrophe (1922) and the Population Exchange (1924).

Αντικριστός χορός (Τσιφτ) ⬥ Instrumental tune from Sille, Konya. The late kanun virtuoso Nikos Stefanidis taught it to his fellow musicians. Recorded in 1991.
Κόνιαλι ⬥ Instrumental dance tune from Cappadocia with Petros Athanasopoulos-Kalyvas (clarinet), Stathis Koukoularis (violin) and Domna Samiou (spoons). Recorded in 1984.
Λέιλαλιμ ⬥ Easter women’s dance. Sung by women from Nea Karvali, Kavala, descendants of Turkish-speaking refugees from the Gelveri region of northwestern Cappadocia. Field recording (1997).
