Μπαίνω μες στ’ αμπέλι
A 7-beat (7/4) tune from Thessaly. Dance known as berati from Thessaly. Berati is a dance from Epirus, named after the town of Berat in Albania, where it likely originated. The variation found in Thessaly is danced using the steps of the slow syrtos sta dio, and in some cases appears as a variation of the slow sygkathistos.

The pipiza is a double-reed woodwind instrument, similar to the oboe. It features seven holes on the front and one on the back, and is approximately 32 cm in length. It is more commonly played on the Greek mainland than on the islands. However, it is gradually falling into disuse and is being replaced by the clarinet.
The daouli is a large drum, with a diameter ranging from 40 cm to 1 meter. It is carried over the left shoulder and played with two sticks — one thick and one thin.
Among all Greek dances, the kalamatianos (also known as syrtos) is the most popular and widely known. Its rhythm is in 7/8 meter, broken down into 3/8 + 2/8 + 2/8.
