Και Παλαμήδι τ’ Αναπλιού, άνοιξε να μπω μέσα.
Να δω τις Αναπλιώτισες, τις Αναπλιωτοπούλες,
πώς πλένουν, πώς λευκαίνουνε, πώς μοσχοσαπουνάνε.
Με το ’να χέρι πλένουνε, με τ’ άλλο σαπουνάνε,
και με τα δυο τα χέρια τους στο κάστρο πολεμάνε.
