Studio recording, 1986.

Domna Samiou taped the song in Agiassos, Lesvos, sung by a group of amateur actors, in 1965.
According to the informants, the song originates from the village of Demircili, near Urla on the Eritrean peninsula.
The original recording is included in the collection Ethnologie Vivante: Grèce (1970).
