Vangelis Dimoudis

Dancer, dance instructor, oud player, and singer, he was born in 1954 in Karoti, Didymoteicho, Evros.

In 1972, he moved to Athens with the entire music and dance group from his village to perform Thracian dances at the Greek Dances Theatre “Dora Stratou”, where he remained for 20 years.

In 1983, he began collaborating with his fellow villager and singing teacher Chronis Aidonidis. He has worked with numerous distinguished traditional musicians and has performed in concerts in Athens, other Greek cities, and abroad.

In addition to his own discography, he has contributed to numerous recordings of other traditional music artists.
