Traïani and Thodoros Pitsanis

Residents of the village of Kitros, Pieria, refugees from Bana in Eastern Rumelia. In the 1970s, during their stay in Athens for performances at the “Dora Stratou” Theatre, Yiorgos Amarantidis recorded them performing twenty-four songs from Eastern Rumelia and handed the cassette with the recordings to Domna Samiou, for inclusion in her archive.
