(1939–2021) | Born in Kambos, Patmos, he began playing the tsampouna at the age of seven. A self-taught musician, he quickly established himself in the local music scene and later collaborated with Simon Karas and Domna Samiou, participating in recordings and concerts in Greece and abroad. His personal discography includes four albums, and he also contributed to numerous projects by other leading figures of traditional music. Beloved for his simplicity, dedication, and lively rhythm, he left a significant legacy in the musical tradition of the Eastern Aegean.
