A vivid dance from the Dodecanese known as pidichtos (leaping dance) from Rhodes. Its steps are similar to the syrtos Chaniotikos dance from Chania, Crete. The villagers from the village Embona of Rhodes, of Cretan origin, call the dance kritikos (Cretan).
