Born in 1976 in Athens. He graduated from the Music School of Pallini and subsequently from the Department of Music Studies of the University of Athens, specializing in ethnomusicology. He also pursued studies in ney, Byzantine music, jazz, and composition.
He collaborated with prominent Greek and international musicians, including Savina Yannatou, Haig Yazdjian, Ross Daly, and many others. He performed in numerous concerts and recordings in Greece and abroad, while also giving a series of seminars and masterclasses in ney, which he taught at the Athens Conservatory.
In 2006 he founded the “Haris Lambrakis Quartet” with Dimitris Theocharis, Nikos Sidirokastritis, and Lydios Damis, performing at festivals and venues in Greece and internationally, presenting primarily his own compositions. In 2010 the quartet released its album. In 2018 he assumed the artistic direction of the Intercultural Orchestra of the Greek National Opera.
