Pavlos Papadakis

Lutist. He comes from the village of Plaka in the Apokoronas province of the Chania prefecture of Crete, and from a musical family. His father, Frangios Papadakis, played the lute, and was the brother of the famous lyra-player Michalis Papadakis or Plakianos. His sister, Aspasia Papadaki, was the first female lyra-player in Crete.
