Born in Olympos in the island of Karpathos, Dodecanese. He plays the karpathian lyra and sings songs from his homeland, as well as mandinades (rhyming couplets, typically improvised during dance music). He makes frequent appearances in Karpathos, but only a few in Athens. He has participated in numerous albums.
