Born in Olympos, on the island of Karpathos, Dodecanese. A musician on the Karpathian lyra and a singer of local songs and mandinades (rhyming improvised couplets), he has performed frequently in Karpathos and more rarely in Athens. He has released solo recordings and has contributed to numerous albums by other prominent artists.
