Marigo Bouziou

(1925-2021) Mrs. Marigo Bouziou, nee Chrysogeni, was born in Astros, Peloponnese. She was a farmer. She lived and worked “like the suffering of the olives”, as she used to say, raising three children alone.

Kind-hearted and smiling to everyone, she always spontaneously had a song in her mouth for any occasion. Thus, when she met Domna Samiou in 2003, they sang together, and Mrs. Marigo shared with her songs about olives.
