Born in Athens in 1945. He studied theatre at the London School of Dramatic Art (1963–1966) and film at the London Film School (1966–1968).
In 1974, he moved to Athens, writing screenplays for film and television while also working as a director. He has also been involved in writing and directing theatrical plays.
He is a member of the Hellenic Directors’ Association, the Hellenic Playwrights’ Association, and a founding member of the Scriptwriters’ Guild of Greece. He has served on the Disciplinary Board of the Scriptwriters’ Guild of Greece. In 1999, he began teaching at the Higher Drama School of the Municipality of Agia Varvara. He is also a member of the humanitarian organization “Doctors of the World”.
