Stavros Adrianos

Traditional musician of the laouto (lute). He collaborated with Domna Samiou in recordings and concerts as well as with Simon Karas’ orchestra. He took part in recordings during the 1960s and 1970s, including the albums A Second Voyage to Greece (Fidelity, 1967) and Travelling in Greece with Domna Samiou (Lyra, 1972).

The First Concerts

In 1971, in the midst of the military Junta period in Greece, Dionysis Savvopoulos convinced Domna to sing at the club “Rodeo”. In the following years, she performed at “Kyttaro” and “Rizes”.
